D7100 BANDING FIX

Postby nikonFix » Tue May 07, 2019 2:52 am

D7100 and D7200 features same image sensors [1, 2], but different sensor board designs. Idea is to modify D7100 sensor board in order to fix banding issue.

The noise pattern is from rather low frequency source, this could be:
1) ineppropriate voltage supply(ies) stabilization;
2) poor filtering of a reference voltage;
3) parasitic oscillations in ground PCB tracks.

I need close and detailed pictures of D7200 sensor board to figure out design differences.
By now I have only those from ebay and aliexpress. Chip names on them are not visible.
