Hi Simeon,

I'm sorry for my ignorance :angry-banghead: , but I'm not 100% sure about the patch installation.
I have a D7000 and I need a clean HDMI and at the moment don't have money to buy one, so the patch for what I understand would do that and some other great things. :angelic-green:
However, I'm not sure if I got this right. I have the lastest Firmware on my camera, do I need to roll back to vs. 1.03 in order to install the patch? If that's the case, after I install the patch, what's next? Should I upgrade the firmware or leave like that?

Thank you guys for this great job, it really helps folks like me.

when to modify your 1.03 firmware with the tool, it is a stand alone full install, so what was on your camera before is irrelevant. It's a patch tool in the sense it patches the full installs prior to you installing it, it doesn't patch on camera. I hope that explains it well enough.

Ok,
I tried everything, but does not work. :techie-studyinggray:
I first download Nikon's firmware to my SD card, then try to download the patch, however I get this message: Model: Unknown Version: Unknown. So I did download all firmwares for my D7000 and try with all of them, same message.

I try on Safary and Google Chrome, same result, and yes, I have Silverlight. So I try on my wife's computer, first on EI then on Chrome, same thing. :techie-typing:

I really want to have this patch, but I don't know what else to do. I watch a video on youtube from a I guy that did that on a D7000, I did exactly the same thing, but it just does not show the patch for me. Maybe there's something that I'm not doing right? :angry-banghead:

Can you please give me so help?

So the firmware you downloaded to the SD is the file you want to "patch" you are not downloading a patch, you are patching your firmware with "our tool" on your PC.

If you have a D7000 as do I, there are five firmware versions: D7000_0101.bin, D7000_0102.bin, D7000_0103.bin, D7000_0104.bin, D7000_0105.bin, of which the patch know about all five, but the first two have been dropped as there is nothing to be gained from this...

Silverlight only works and only can be used on Internet Explorer 11 and prior, all other browsers don't support it, and Silverlight is not asked for or needed since 5th Jan 2018, and if the program says "Model: Unknown" the tool is working...

So that implies, your not feeding the tool a valid file..

Does 64mbps depends on lighting / recording fps?
For example here his quality is awesome - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIAAAmsgRZ4
I installed everything correctly and I have about 30-40mbps on 60fps

Possible to make custom menus to enable and disable.
I would like to have more controll on noise, for doing nightsky shots(milkyway, or dark areas in general).
