D3200 - How to remove the internal Infrared filter?

Postby LuckyGuy » Sat Jul 13, 2013 1:36 pm

D3200 - I'd like to take pictures in the near IR (from 720 nm to 940 nm) but there appears to be an internal cut off filter for anything above about 720nm. Where is it? Can it be removed?
Thanks!

Astronomer did it for D7000, may be have a look on his blog http://landingfield.wordpress.com/tag/d7000/ or ask him details. There are several articles in blog (new and old 2012) about H-alpha conversion.

EDIT: moved
