There are not viruses. Many software for programmators also contain viruses in the opinion of AVG or Kaspersky, but it is no so. This is Nikon's software as it is.

there is no service .exe file for D5200 but is it possible to use D5100 file to remap sensor pixels or to reset shutter count? did anyone try this before?

There are simple commands shared between the camera models, like get model, or get software version.

The mapping of pixels and other sensor specific stuff is not the same accross models because those parts are really different.

So a skilled person could tweak the D5100 tool to be happy talking to a D5200 (by changing the expected results from the common commands) but you would create a world of pain when the uncommon stuff it messed up because it's done differently.

Hi everybody!!

I need the Shooting Image Adjustment Program, for remapping a Nikon D5200 matrix (light and colored static pixels).

Unfortunately, I can't find it yet anywhere.

Anybody have it? I'll be a very grateful for this application :) :) :)
