Hi there !
I am new to this forum but my Nikon d90 suffered from severe backfocus since I got it - second hand. Last three months I googled a lot of sites and forums with not enough or wrong information about correcting d90 front/back focussing issues since I found this service software and I am very grateful to you and your kindly help by this software, which help me with my problem. The only thing Ive done was entering the Inspection and Adjustment Program>Inspection and Adjusment for AF>Adjustment for AF Accuracy>AF Shift Adjustment>Shift to Near Side Focus (as I had backfocus issue). There is available 0-150 value which I could enter. First I tried with really low number - 4, hitted OK and waited for some time. After that I tried dozens of test to check my AF - nothing changed. I decided to try with higher values - 20 - again nothing visible after that - 26 - I spotted little shift in my AF, so decided with bigger values - 50 more - there was visible correction but not enough and once again 50 > with that after about hundreds of shots for testing it was almost perfect but I noticed it was a little front focussing now. To correct this I entered 20 with the Shift to Far Side Focus radio button. Now its perfect!
Once again thanks for that wonderful soft. I am not encouraging anybody to do this! Try it at your own risk! I just want to share my expirience with you.
P.S. Also succeeded to override the release times (shutter counts) :)

WOW about the release of this nikon service adjustment software...it's a miracle :)
The majority of released versions are for body adjustment...will be supper dupper if someoane will be abble to release the software for lens adjusting...it is a separate one :)

I discovered now that my new body of d7000 purchased one month ago it is in fact produced in april 2011...no wonder why second day after purchase I went to service for body af calibration...because of massive back focus...I suppose that in April 2011 was from the line of production with that well known problem of back focus.

From adjustment software I was abble to read a value of 25 on body af calibration...maybe what they did in service when I give them the body...returned from service with some 200 more shutter counts.
