I see this, but how do I get it working with the Nikon D7000? Or were you not responding to my post?

I strongly suggest read WIKI first.

Okay, thanks! I was mainly curious if there was a more detailed instruction set for getting it done. I'll give this a try (will require a bit of learning) and see if I can't post/create a more detailed guide for people.

Would be great indeed to get more detailed instructions on how to use the WU-1a with the D7000, really appreciated.

Thanks, Paul

You just have to hack WU-1a to provide 3V on pin6, because D7000 can't do it. WIKI has links to video, etc. Or email Joe Fitz for details.

Are we able to do this with the d5100?

Been doing a lot of reading over here and this truly is a great site/resource!

I just try same schematic with D5100 but no luck. I can connect to device(WU-1a) via wireless but when i try to connect the camera using qDslrDashboard on the device red led start blinking so no connection can be made.

A another note, in wiki says to connect 3V to pin 6 but in all images and youtube video the 3V is connected to the pin 5 and for me works only if is connected to pin 5.

Maybe isn't possible to hack WU-1a to work with D5100 ...

Is there a way to connect D5200 by wu-1a to PC. To transfer photos that way?

DSLRdashboard (the non-app version) could be a useful starting place. There's also a section on Interfacing Software for the WU-1a on the wiki if you want to consider other options.
