Webpage

Hi,

Did you consider having a homepage for the site to act like a sort of display.
In that way, the pages telling what have been done, or what has already been requested would get more visibility (considering a lot of people don't actually search the board before asking for features).
Including the showcase posts to a front webpage would also be good to encourage people donating.

I'd be happy to help, if you think this is a good idea.

What I meant, was : Wouldn't be easier to have everything in the same place and in an easier format to read for visitors ?
I personnaly won't benefit in a change in this website, but I think it would be nice for the site to be in that format for new visitors (considering that, the more work you achieve, the more new people will come).

I do read the global announcement posts, and I know about the showcase area (this is why I mentionned it in the first place).
My point here is that, the more information you make available, in the easiest way possible, the less question will be asked (and maybe the less feature requests ?).

Hope you didn't get me wrong. ^^

Hi hommes_doutant,

I'm not sure about creating a feature board, for the concerns coderat mentioned.

I won't turn down help on site design though. All our logos came from another helpful user for example.
Right now I'm just using an off-the-shelf portal for the forum that I've done minor customization to. I'm definitely not opposed to making it look nicer or adding features.

I'm going to work on this as soon as i've got time on my hands. I'll let you know how this goes.

Last question : Do you have some sort of lightweight dev version of the site to test for features and changes made to the site ?
