Just upgraded from d3200 to a used 610

Postby zubamse » Sat Sep 02, 2017 7:55 am

Hi i'm new here :) i like to get the most out of my camera and i can't see that much change in the nikon patch tool, still better bitrate in video, but i rarely take video with my camera, mostly because my phone is better in light and you cant aperture change during video, seems like a hw problem and not a thing that can be changed with sw.

i saw some "Dark Current Enable Tool" for astronomy use / taking pictures of the stars, but is not fully supported, so if you need a beta tester i'm up for it(it uses ram so restarting it should reset it, right?)

just tell me if i posted it the wrong place, or if there already is a post regarding optimizing the D610.

Best regards Martin J.

That is the source code for the patch tool, if you know how to build C# code you might find it easiest to use that, as I have not yet updated the online patch tool with that code (the dark current stuff)..
