D750 Feature Requests

Postby xipe » Thu Oct 16, 2014 12:57 am

Hi,

Are there any plans or projects concerning the Nikon D750?

I'm planning to buy this one, as soon as your firmware hack will be released!
:)

Using the D600 hack right now and it is absolutely fabulous, the video quality improved so much...

Kind regards, Robert

D810 would be cool too, I'm sure someone is figuring it out.

The D750 give right now the best Video quality of all Nikon DSLR hacked or not . (and the D810 too ) . And you gain some nice bonus , like the zébras for exposure , full manual control in liveview (aperture too !), 60 fps , a new and optimised Flat video profile . Sure a better bitrate is always good to have but the video quality of the D750 seems to be already really amazing .
In my opinion it will be fantastic if the dev can take some of these things to put them in the others body ( maybe zebras and the flat profile is possible ;))

Re: D750 30 Minute Video Hack Anyone?

Postby webpagepub » Sun Nov 30, 2014 9:08 am

Hey everyone. Have any of you heard of a hack yet for the D750? I am a videographer and I shoot videos sometimes 2 or 3 hours long. I love how the Nikon D750 has 2 SD Card slots (for this very reason) but if I am limited to 20 or 30 minutes then the D750 is worthless to me. Has anybody heard of any successful hacks on the D750 that removed the 20 or 30 minute recording time limit allowing you to record for longer than an hour (or until you run out of disk space)?

I don't think there will be anything hacked in the d750/d810 before Nikon releases a firmware update.

Nikon just released a C-firmware update for D750.

BUT, the quality with the stock firmware is superb compared to any previous Nikon - so there's not that much of a need for a hack, but it still might be welcome :)

The D750 is an amazing camera. Very few things I would change about the video. A wish list:
Remove the recording time limit;
48 or 54 Mbps recording;
120 fps.
