It is. But D800 use a different Expeed and those address location are not the same. We need a D800 with 1.00 firmware for both A and B, then USB logging with the service tool here. The service tool no longer recognizes D800 with updated firmware. If we don't have a matched version of service tool, we cannot help.

I just joined and wonder if the post is still being used.
My comment would be: take the individual frames (dark frame before and after, use flats), use Fitswork and there move into the flats / darks, etc. section, do the subtraction /dividing there. Seems a faster and simpler way to achieve a flat background and an even image. Plus you can edit on the pixel level in a comfortable large screen environment. You can also create Master Flats, etc. Fitswork is free.

I have a silly question:
Could one update a D810 with the (or much of the) D810a firmware and make use of the longer exposure time, etc.? Or does anyone know of accommodating the D810 with much of the D810a features?
