Android GPS over Wifi

I am new to this form and would therefore like to send my greetings..

I was googling for a solution to get the GPS information from my android phone over Wifi into my D5200 like it seems already be possible via Bluetooth (GPS over BT). I read the article "Hacking Nikon's Cheap WU-1a Wifi Dongle for Higher End Camreas" and i am amazed about what people are able to do.. I was wondering whether it was possible to comunicate over PTP->PTPIP to "send" the GPS data to the EXIF header of my photos..
